We dropped bye by chance as there was a jazz quartet playing in the canal du midi village Homps Before it started dinner we chose the set menu for €26 and a 50cl pitcher of wine for €7, the starters arrived woosh! fab unexpected huge plates nicely presented and delicious. I had king Prawns and Bullots (Whelks) my partner had a mixed plate of delicious hot cheese. We followed it with main courses of "Gardianne de Taureau" a kind of beef stew and a wonderful plate of Octopus in a tomato and onion sauce both were excellent, some refreshing sorbet and a fresh coffee finished the dinner nicely and back to the canal du midi for some jazz ,😁👍👑- Service

What a wonderful place. Absolutely overwhelming - super, super service by attentive hostes. Excellent kitchen. We were there twice within a week and really enjoyed their speciality - poulpe/octopus. All menues quite varied and otherwise reasonable priced. Look forward to our return visit.

Very, very nice restaurant with great food and fabulous service. Had strong misconceptions about octopus until I tasted Le Poulpe’s version. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant in the area.

Originally called in for a pizza to takeaway, decided to eat in. The best pizza we've had in a long while. Ordered a green salad as a sidedish, perfect. Close to the Canal du Midi, nice for a stroll, before or after dinner.

Food and staff were amazing!! Recommend the duck, oysters the soupe du pecheur! 1000% recommend making this stop for dinner and dessert, meal was fresh and delicious! #biblical

The place look not really great. But food was soooooo delicious. I had tuna fish with fries and it was perfect. Hope you gonna enjoy it here as well. And also they accept turist without any problems (lot of places in France have problem with that.)

Fantastic honest food. Superb lunch menu deal.
Have passed by for many years and seen several changes of cuisine. Today's visit was the first time and it was excellent. Menu seafood oriented with lots of other options. Good portion size and very friendly staff and atmosphere.
